Tonight we’re going to be talking about two young women with different experienced but a common thread. One that really hits home for me. My generation, well we were the generation of young teens in chat rooms and on instant messenger. Before there were warning signs. Before we really knew what could happen. Before our parents had any inclination that maybe they should step in. And I don’t blame the parents, I really don’t. Technology gave pedophiles direct access to young teens everywhere, with their naive and unknowing parents close by. Oblivious to the absolute terror that was happening in their own homes. I’m thankful for my own experiences and that I have the knowledge to protect my own daughter, but I am so terribly heartbroken that other young women my age had to learn the hard way. That the internet can be dark and full of predators. And today, you need to listen to their stories and hear their truths, especially if you have a daughter or even just know a young woman who might be susceptible. This episode is the most important episode I’ve done to date. So listen up.
