This is the story of the abduction and murder of 6-year-old Opal Jennings, and since we are dealing with a child victim in our story please be aware that some of the information provided here will be very unsettling and disturbing. Opal’s story reminded me very much of the Amber Hagerman case that I covered a while back, although Amber’s killer has still to this day never been found. The victimology and the crime itself are very similar.
