Tonight we’re heading over to Australia to cover the story of their worst serial killer, Ivan Milat, also known as the “Backpacker Murderer”, who was known to abduct and brutally murder tourists and hitchhikers in Southern Australia. It was clear he enjoyed what he did, and provided no other motive for the gruesome crimes he committed over more than a decade. However until the day he died, he maintained that he was innocent, they got the wrong guy. With all of the evidence against him, one can surmise that Ivan was guilty, but did he act alone? This is actually a huge story, and I was going to try to cover it all in one episode but wow, we’re going to need a two parter here.
